Food Drive to benefit Safe Net Ministries Food Cupboard

Region - posted Dec, 10 2013

REGION - Until Dec. 23, Johnson Memorial Medical Center will be hosting a food drive to benefit Safe Net Ministries Food Cupboard. Safe Net Ministries Food Cupboard is a local not-for-profit business created by seven local churches to help families living in Stafford and Union. In 2012, Safe Net Food Cupboard distributed close to 119,000 pounds of food to their client-base families. This amazing accomplishment wouldn’t be possible without the generous donations from the public and local businesses. If you are interested in donating to families in need, please stop in to Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs or Johnson Surgery Center in Enfield, with your donation. Key items that Safe Net Ministries is currently looking for include; non-perishable food items (especially canned meat and peanut butter), gift cards to local grocery chains and personal care items.
