School vacation week activities at the library

MANCHESTER - Visit the Manchester Public Library while school’s out for the following special activities: Monday, Dec. 23 – Enjoy parachute games, bingo and tasty pizza at Pizza, Parachute and Bingo. At 10:30 a.m. at Cheney; at 2:30 p.m. at Whiton. Thursday, Dec. 26 – Bring in puzzles or games from home for Puzzle-Mania with friends. The library will also provide puzzles to try. At 10:30 a.m. at Cheney; at 2:30 p.m., at Whiton. Friday, Dec. 27 – Remember preschool playgroup is still going on this week. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Whiton; and from 10 a.m. to noon at Cheney. Saturday, Dec. 28 – See what you can create during our Interlocking Blocks program, at 10:30 a.m. at Cheney. Then from 2 to 4 p.m., bring your rubber band loom to Cheney and create a rubber band bracelet. Rubber bands will be provided. Monday, Dec. 30 – Warm up by trying the hula dance at the library. Kahana Hula will be at the library at 10:30 a.m. at Cheney, and at 2:30 p.m. at Whiton. Tuesday, Dec. 31 – End the year with a cool art project. The Art Truck will be at Cheney from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Howroyd Room. Mary Cheney Library is located at 586 Main St, Manchester, and Whiton Memorial Library is at 100 North Main St, Manchester.
