Please bring to class a needle, thread, thimble, scissors and two pieces of fabric. On Tuesday, Jan. 14, the library will host a Connecticut Emergency Preparedness Program in the Community Room. There will be two sessions: at 1 and 6 p.m. This program will demonstrate how prepared the state is during a statewide emergency, including personal preparedness and an overview of emergency planning. Jonathan Best, director of the Department of Health Office of Preparedness and Response, will provide you with guidance, planning and supervision in carrying out preparedness and response functions.
