Student art exhibition, 'Building Bridges'

Windsor - posted Dec, 23 2013

WINDSOR - For the third year, Windsor High School’s pre-AP art students have been inspired by the historic architecture of Windsor’s Palisado Green, the Farmington River bridges, and the more modern structures surrounding the Broad Street Green. See the products of their inspiration in Building Bridges: Windsor Walks, an exhibition created by the art students that opens at the Windsor Historical Society on Thursday, Jan. 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to a free public reception to meet these talented Windsor students and celebrate the connections they have made between Windsor’s past, present, and future through their art. Refreshments will be served, sponsored by Rabbett Insurance Agency and provided by the Beanery. The snow date is Thursday, Jan. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m.
