BOLTON - On Thursday, Jan. 23, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Bentley Memorial Library, 206 Bolton Center Road, Bolton, there will be a program on the many varieties of bird species in the Bolton area. Learn about resources to make birding more satisfying and enjoyable. Bring your bird guide and curiosity. Ernie Harris will be the program leader. Harris, a Bolton resident, has been birding since he was 12. He is a current trip chairperson for the Hartford Audubon Society (HAS) and leads bird walks for HAS, as well as the Bolton Land Trust. In addition to Bolton, he and his wife, Millie, have birded elsewhere in Connecticut, across the USA and in Canada, Costa Rica, France and England.
