GLASTONBURY - Do you enjoy knitting or crocheting? The Senior Center Knitting and Crocheting group meet weekly Mondays at 10 a.m., and have agreed to knit HeartScarves for an upcoming 5K run and walk on March 29. Each of the Heartscarves are a symbol of comfort and support and are made of soft and lightweight yarn that measure 4-5 inches wide and 50 to 60 inches long. On March 29, these HeartScarves will be given out to the women who are survivors of heart disease. For information on the event, please call Joann Pagliughi at 860-633-2117 only. To donate red yarn, you can bring it to the Senior Center located within in The Riverfront Community Center at 300 Welles St., Glastonbury.
