GLASTONBURY - The following are Senior Center movies for the month of January. The Riverfront Community Center is located at 300 Welles St., Glastonbury. For more information, call 860-652-7655. For the movie programs, popcorn and an iced beverage will be available. There is no charge for these programs and no reservations are needed. If you wish to recommend a movie, please complete a suggestion form in the Senior Center office. Please be respectful to others during the movie by turning off cell phones and refraining from talking during the movie. Monday Movie Madness: movies start promptly at 1 p.m.: Jan. 13 - “Kate & Leopold.” Romantic-comedy fantasy that tells a story of a duke who travels through time from New York in 1876 to the present and falls in love with a career woman in modern New York. Rated PG 13. 118 minutes. Jan. 20 - No movie. Jan. 27 - “Young at Heart.” Coldplay, the Clash and Jimi Hendrix will never sound the same once you've heard the Young at Heart chorus, a group of Massachusetts senior citizens who thrill audiences worldwide with their unusual - and unusually poignant - covers of rock songs. Stephen Walker's humane and heartwarming documentary, which premiered at Sundance in 2008, follows the elderly ensemble as they prepare their latest show for public performances. Rated PG. Inspiring/Emotional. 108 minutes.
