New online citizen response and engagement tools

Windsor - posted Jan, 09 2014

WINDSOR - SeeClickFix and Winput are your brand new direct lines to Town Hall. The town’s two newest online citizen response and citizen engagement tools are now “live” on the town’s website. SeeClickFix is an interactive tool that makes it easy for residents to report non-emergency, quality of life issues online or with their mobile device. Using GPS coordinates, SeeClickFix can navigate to the area of concern and instantly relay the information to a town department. Winput is a citizen engagement tool which allows the public to contribute input on town projects and surveys, as well as participate in discussions on topics of community interest. Inaugural topics for discussion on Winput focus on the town center, the train station area plan, potential enhancements on Broad Street and the transit-oriented development study. Future topics may include discussions or surveys on the future of recycling in town, the FY15 budget, proposed capital improvement projects, etc. Detailed information, as well as quick and easy registration for both new services can be found on the town of Windsor website at
