For more information, call 860-652-7655. iPad Workshop: Monday, Feb. 10, from 10 to 11 a.m. - iPad users connect with each other and share information. Kindle Workshops: Monday, Jan. 27 and Feb. 24, 10 to 11 a.m. - Kindle users helping one another with some of the many different aspects of Kindle. Book and Author Discussion Group, Thursday, Jan. 16, at 10:30 a.m. Facilitator: Geri Andrew. No charge or registration needed. “The Samurai’s Garden: A Novel” is a 1996 novel by American author Gail Tsukiyama. Current Issues Discussion Group, Friday, Jan. 17, 10 to 11 a.m. Facilitator: Larry Fleming. Advanced registration not required. Join the conversation on an array of topics ranging from who will be in the Super Bowl to next year’s political races. Ukulele Big Sing, Saturday, Jan. 25, noon to 1 p.m. No fee, just beautiful music. Open to the public. Sing along to the music of the Ukulele Band led by Dr. Rosokoff. A great hour of music and songs by the ukulele band. Sing-a-long following the words on the large screen. Band Practice, Thursdays, 6 to 8 p.m. Program leader: Bev Flaherty. Music provided, bring your instrument and join us. Newcomers always welcome.
