SOUTH WINDSOR - You are invited to the family fun-day event, StoryFaces, on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the wood Memorial Library. Christopher Agostino’s StoryFaces, is a transformation storytelling, a very special kind of storytelling and face artistry show combined into a one-of-a-kind performance to inspire and delight any audience. Audience volunteers are brought on stage and face-painted to illustrate the stories as he tells them, fully engaging the audience with a skillful spoken word performance combined with his unique visual art.    The amazing face painting captivates the audience while they listen to traditional folktales and original stories — ranging from the comic adventure of, "The First Time a Man Met a Crocodile," to the heroic tale of Punia and the King of the Sharks and an ancient tale asking the timeless question: Is life fair? Registration is required. Please call Wood at 860-289-1783 or visit the library to register.  The library is open Mondays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and is located at 783 Main St., South Windsor. The fee for this event is $7 per person or $25 for a family of four or more. Wood accepts VISA and MC. Refreshments will be served. Walk-ins welcome, only if space permits.
