GRISWOLD- The deadline is approaching for the upcoming 2015 Griswold Bicentennial logo design contest. The winning logo will be used on event stationery, signage, website and merchandise and promotional materials. Entrants are asked to submit a logo design on a paper no larger than 8.5 by 11 inches to represent the theme "Preserving Our Past - Celebrating Our Present - Improving Our Future." The contest is open to all Griswold residents and cash prizes, along with Bicentennial event tickets, will be offered for first, second and third place. Entries should be submitted to the first selectmen's office and can be mailed to Griswold 2015 Bicentennial Committee, c/o Griswold Town Hall, 28 Main St., Griswold CT 06351.
