MANCHESTER - As part of its chamber music series, the Friends of Music at Emanuel will present the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Manchester, on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m. The orchestra, directed by Maestro Adrian Sylveen, was founded in 1997 and is composed of the region's finest musicians. It has grown to become one of the most active and versatile musical organizations in Connecticut. Conductor and violin virtuoso Sylveen will play and conduct Mozart's "Violin Concerto in G major" and J. S. Bach's "Brandenburg Concertos Nos. 3 and 5."
