Children's programs at the library

SOUTH WINDSOR - The following programs will be held at the South Windsor Public Library. The library is located at 1550 Sullivan Ave., South Windsor. For further information or to register, call 860-644-5404. Family Stories: Saturday mornings at 10 a.m., for children ages 3 and up, with at least one adult, are invited to drop in for half-hour of stories and fun. No registration is necessary. This program will be held on Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22. Bouncing Babies: this time is for the little ones, ages 6 months to 24 months, with a care giver. Share rhymes, songs, bounces and stories for 15 minutes. This is followed by 45 minutes of free play. This program will be held at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., on Feb. 21, 28, March 7 and 14. Registration is necessary. Terrific Twos Learn the Alphabet: this story time for children ages 24 months to 36 months includes stories, rhymes and songs. Each week the group concentrates on one letter of the alphabet. This program will be held on Feb. 18, 25, March 4 and 11. Registration is necessary. Reading Roundup: this program is for children ages 3 to 5, who can attend without a caregiver. Miss Michele will share stories, activities and a craft with the children. This program will be held on Feb. 20, 27, March 6 and 13. Registration is necessary.
