MANCHESTER - Connecticut residents are already seeing the benefits of the Affordable Care Act, but the next few months will see big leaps forward. On Oct. 1, the new health insurance marketplace, Access Health CT, opened for business. In January, changes went into effect that are expected to reduce the number of uninsured in the state by over 100,000. Everyone needs health care coverage. Help in enrolling is available at no cost by assisters that are certified by Access Health CT. Please call Michele Mudrick at 860-796-3822 to make an appointment for Thursday, Feb. 13, or Feb. 20, 10 to 1 p.m., at the Mary Cheney Library, Manchester. If either of these days or time is not convenient for you, please call Michele to make an appointment for another day. Register by phone at 860-796-3822.
