Sea Music and Stories with the Don Sineti Trio

GLASTONBURY - On Saturday, Feb. 8, at 7:30 p.m., CT Audubon Society, 1361 Main St., Glastonbury, is hosting Sea Music and Stories with the Don Sineti Trio. Celebrate the relaunching of the legendary Charles W. Morgan whaling ship. Enjoy an engaging evening of sea music and so much more: shanties, folk songs, stories, history and humor. Along with the music of the Don Sineti trio, Dr. Mary Bercaw Edwards, a Herman Melville scholar, will show slides and speak on Melville's time at sea, his writing of "Moby Dick," and the whaleship Charles W. Morgan, now berthed at Mystic Seaport. This concert will celebrate the relaunching of the Charles W. Morgan later this year.
