Housing rehabilitation program

Enfield - posted Jan, 29 2014

ENFIELD - The Office of Community Development and the town of Enfield would like to make you aware of a program to help you repair your home through the town’s Housing Rehabilitation Program. The program provides financial and technical assistance in the form of low interest and deferred payment loans to low and moderate income households to make necessary repairs. This includes electrical work, the replacement of heating systems, roof replacement, window replacement, siding, structural repairs and plumbing work. The program also addresses lead hazard reduction, asbestos abatement and the removal of underground storage tanks. The income limits vary by household size. In order to qualify a household of two, for instance, you would need to have an annualized household income that does not exceed $51,550. For an application or for more information, please contact Deborah Mylek in the Office of Community Development at 860-253-6390.
