Connections: a Storytime for Children with Autism

Enfield - posted Feb, 03 2014

ENFIELD - Connections: A Storytime for Children with Autism for ages 3-6 will be held the second and fourth Friday of every month beginning Feb. 14 and ending May 23. Children and families will make “Connections” with each other, as well as with books and the library. The program will address the needs of children with sensory processing issues by creating a predictable, hands-on storytime designed to engage all of the senses. Musical instruments, a sand and water table, and sensory stepping stones will be integrated into the stories, songs, and crafts that make up a typical storytime. For more information, please call the library at 860-763-7518 or the main library number at 860-763-7510. Enfield Public Library is located at 104 Middle Road, Enfield.
