Connecticut in the American Revolution program

VERNON - On Sunday, March 2, at 2 p.m., Bev York, site administrator at Nathan Hale Homestead will share stories and tell of people from Connecticut who made significant contributions to the fight for American independence in the American Revolution. She will relate the history of the Trumbull family, Samuel Huntington, Nathan Hale, Colonel Knowlton and more. The program will be held at Vernon Historical Society, 734 Hartford Tpke., Vernon, following a short business meeting. The program is free and open to the public.
