Pasta dinner to benefit St. Jude's

Stafford - posted Feb, 10 2014

STAFFORD - Once again it is time to think about helping children who are desperate, needing the medical attention provided by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. These are innocent kids whose only offense is to want a chance at a full, healthy life. Kids that were stricken with the most dreaded disease we know, cancer. Kids who don’t have any other options. St. Jude’s has been helping these kids since 1962; that’s 52 years and has made great strides and saved thousands of kids, But they need our help. On Saturday, Feb. 22, the West Stafford Fire Department will host the eighth annual Pasta Dinner for St. Jude’s at 144 West Stafford Road, Stafford Springs. The pasta served includes authentic Italian homemade sauce prepared by chief Joe Lorenzetti; garlic bread and salad will also be served. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Tickets can be reserved by calling 860-684-9438.
