Garden club's March meeting

WINDSOR - The March 10 meeting of the Windsor Garden Club is presenting the program, Herbal Teas and Springtime Tonics. It is believed that teas have been used by mankind since prehistoric times, and that they have been a part of every known civilization. Participants will learn about the healing benefits of herbs that you can combine to create blends for enhancing health and well-being. Presenter Gayle Nogas is the founder and proprietor of Gayle’s Thyme Herbal Apothecary in Enfield. Nogas celebrates more than 30 years as an herbalist, and has her master herbalist diploma from the American College of Healthcare Sciences, Portland, Ore. She is a long-time member of the Connecticut Herb Association, the Northeast Herbal Association and National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy.
