EAST HARTFORD - An energy forum will be held on March 6, at 7 p.m., at the East Hartford Town Hall to assist renters, homeowners and businesses who are interested in lowering their utility bills, as well as achieving energy efficiency and conservation. Officials from the state Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Connecticut Light & Power Co., Connecticut Natural Gas Co. and representatives from the heating oil and propane industries will be present to answer questions and discuss available energy programs. The forum will be hosted by Rep. Henry Genga (D-10) and held in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 740 Main St. The forum also will be broadcast on the town’s local access television cable station.
