Benefit concert with folk singer Lui Collins

GLASTONBURY - St. Luke’s Church, 915 Main St., South Glastonbury, is presenting folk singer/songwriter Lui Collins in a benefit concert on Saturday, April 5. Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for students and seniors plus a donation for the local food bank in Glastonbury. A portion of the ticket price will also be used to feed the hungry. Collins has been performing, writing and recording for more than 40 years, earning international acclaim for her music. Her music ranges from original and traditional folk songs to bossa nova in the original Brazilian Portuguese. She’s made 16 recordings of her own and has sung and played guitar or banjo on others’ projects, as well.
