WINDSOR LOCKS- Reservations are now being accepted for a 2-hour parenting workshop to be held on May 28 from 6 : 30-8 : 30 p . m . at the New England Preschool Academy , One Foxwood Drive in Windsor Locks . The academy is sponsoring this fun and interactive workshop that will assist adults , who live or work with children from 18 months to 18 yearsof age , with techniques for handling power struggles and tantrums .

The session , “ No I Won’t and You Can’t Make Me” will offer solid step-by-step methods for handling negative behavior in children . The speaker is Bill Corbett , author of “ Love , Limits and Lessons . ” Admission for this event is $ 10 per person , $ 15 per couple .
