Owner Russ Dunbar has been in the jewelry business in the Vernon area for 46 years. Schweitzer, a gemologist-GIA, has been working in the industry for 23 years and has recently celebrated his 19th year with Dunbar Jewelers. Hilary Dunbar von Hollander, also a gemologist-GIA, has been with the company since its opening in 1986. Claudia Kadow also has been with Dunbar since 1986 and Renee Corona for 9 years — both excel in customer service with 36 years of combined experience. Darlene Benda has recently joined our team. Dunbar has built a reputation for fine quality diamonds and gemstones that are among the best in the industry, specializing in the what is considered the worlds most brilliant diamonds — the BIRO 88 — these diamonds are ideal cut with 88 facets.
